I first met 9 year old Esteban in April, when I traveled to Quito, Ecuador to host a Microtia Atresia Conference. While examining him I noticed that he had a 50% exposure of his Medpor implant and a very crushed spirit. Esteban had previously received 2 free surgeries through a foundation that traveled to Ecuador. They tried to make a right ear but both surgeries were failures and his family has no resources to help him.
Three weeks ago Esteban traveled to Los Angeles and received a free new ear from Earicles ~ Miracles For Ears. This video shows Esteban’s incredible story:
