The mission of our non-profit, Earicles ~ Miracles for Ears, is to help children born without ears thrive through Education, Advocacy, Research and Surgical care (EARS).
Earicles held the 2nd Annual Los Angeles Microtia Atresia Conference (LAMAC) at Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes, California during the July 10-12th weekend. This conference provided Education about Microtia and Atresia treatment options to patients and their families with nationally recognized physician experts and guest speakers (including Parent Advocacy), as well as a very popular Patient/Parent Forum Q&A session.
Going into the conference weekend I didn’t think it would be possible to top LAMAC 2013. But, it was another amazing, heartfelt weekend filled with education, compassion, and a sense of belonging. It surpassed all of my expectations…yet again!
