I am so appreciative of the wonderful response we have received regarding our Earicles 1st Annual Los Angeles Microtia And Atresia Conference (LAMAC)! We have had so much interest that last week I was very happy to secure an additional block of rooms from Terranea Resort to ensure more families can attend!
One of the truly beautiful things about this world of Microtia and Atresia is all of the patients and families that want to help those just embarking on this journey. For me, it is truly inspiring that several of my post-operative patients have told me that they will attend LAMAC, even traveling from other states to come to this event. In fact, everyone is really getting into the spirit – from the generosity of our sponsors and donors (Cochlear, EarWell, Oticon Medical, Sophono) to the amazing outpouring of volunteers, especially the incredible staff at K and B Surgical Center.
We are planning many special elements at LAMAC with the goal that families will feel extremely well prepared to make the critical decisions about the best treatment for their loved one.
